Battery Passport first

18 February 2027 is the first concrete DPP deadline.

For EV batteries, LMT batteries and industrial batteries above 2 kWh, the Battery Regulation requires a battery passport from 18 February 2027. The current Commission guidance maps 71 data points by battery category - and not every point has the same status for every battery.
