This notice explains how personal data is handled when you visit dppprep.eu or contact DPPPrep by email.
DPPPrep is an independent EU-based project providing Digital Product Passport readiness and product-data preparation services. For privacy matters, contact service@dppprep.eu.
The public website currently has no account system, no embedded contact form, no advertising technology and no analytics platform. We do not intentionally set non-essential tracking cookies.
If you contact DPPPrep by email, we may process the information you choose to send, such as your name, company, business contact details, enquiry and any documents provided for the requested service.
Personal data may be used to answer enquiries, prepare quotations, discuss requested services, manage pre-contractual steps and, where a service is agreed, administer the business relationship. Depending on the context, processing is based on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in managing B2B enquiries, or another applicable lawful basis.
Please avoid sending confidential technical material until the scope and appropriate confidentiality arrangements are agreed. An NDA can be put in place before sensitive product documentation is shared.
The website and business email infrastructure are currently hosted using OVHcloud services in Europe. Additional processors will be identified in the relevant commercial arrangements if they are introduced for a client engagement.
Unsuccessful or inactive enquiries are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for follow-up, record-keeping and legitimate business purposes, and are periodically reviewed for deletion. Contractual records may need to be kept longer where legal, accounting or contractual obligations apply.
Where applicable under EU data-protection law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. You may also raise a concern with the competent data-protection supervisory authority.
Like most web-hosting services, the hosting provider may process technical connection data such as IP address, timestamps and request information for security, reliability and server-operation purposes.
This notice may be updated when the website, service model or data-processing arrangements change. The version published on this page is the current version.
