Plain-English framework

Clear scope before the work starts

The points below describe the intended standard working model. The quotation or order confirmation contains the binding contracting identity, scope, price, VAT treatment and any project-specific legal terms.

1. Scope

The agreed scope identifies the product(s), source material, expected deliverables and exclusions. Work outside that scope is not assumed to be included.

2. Client inputs

The client remains responsible for providing information it is entitled to share and for identifying known confidentiality restrictions, supplier-use conditions and limitations in source data.

3. Deliverables

Typical deliverables can include a requirement matrix, source register, gap/action list, structured dataset and executive summary. The exact level of detail is agreed before work begins.

4. Regulatory role

DPPPrep provides data-readiness and preparation support. It does not act as a notified body, certification authority or law firm, and does not certify that a product or dataset is legally compliant.

5. Confidentiality

An NDA can be agreed before sensitive technical information is shared. Project-specific handling, retention and third-party-processing requirements should be agreed where needed.

6. Fees and changes

Fees, VAT treatment, payment terms and assumptions are stated in the quotation. Changes to the agreed scope should be confirmed in writing.

7. Intellectual property

Client product data and source documents remain the client's or relevant third party's information. Unless otherwise agreed, DPPPrep retains generic methods, templates and know-how; client-specific deliverables may be used for the client's internal DPP project and shared with its chosen implementation providers.

8. Source-data quality

Unsupported, conflicting or missing information is flagged rather than silently converted into verified data. Third-party evidence remains attributable to its source.

9. Handover and closure

Unresolved gaps remain visible at handover. Return, deletion or retention of working copies can be agreed in the engagement documents.

10. Binding legal terms

The contracting party, business / tax details, governing law, liability provisions and dispute terms are stated in the quotation or order confirmation. Those project documents take precedence over this informational page.

ImportantThis page is a service framework, not legal advice and not a complete contract. It is intended to make the working model transparent before a formal quotation is issued.
